Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Welcome to UzimaEvent. By accessing or using our event management platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, creating an event, or using any of our services (including budget tools, committee management, ticketing, and contributions), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Event Host Responsibilities
As an event organizer (host), you are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of event details (date, venue, description, categories).
- Compliance with local laws regarding event permits, safety, and data protection.
- Ensuring that all contributions, pledges, and payments collected are lawful and properly reported.
- Any content posted, including cover images, agendas, and messages to members.
3. Payments & Refunds
UzimaEvent provides ticketing and contribution processing. All sales for public tickets or private event pledges are final unless otherwise stated. Refund requests are at the discretion of the event host. Any disputes regarding payments must be resolved between the attendee and the event organizer. We are not liable for chargebacks or unauthorized transactions.
4. Card & Ticket Usage
Digital cards (Single, Double, VVIP, Table) and QR codes are issued for event access. They remain the property of UzimaEvent. Any unauthorized reproduction, transfer, or resale may result in cancellation without refund. You agree that scanning the QR code at entry confirms attendance.
5. Privacy & Data
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect personal data such as names, emails, phone numbers, and event-related information to provide our services. We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use UzimaEvent for illegal activities, fraud, harassment, spam, or to distribute malicious software. Events promoting hate speech, violence, or discrimination are strictly forbidden and will be terminated immediately.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UzimaEvent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from event cancellations, technical failures, or third-party vendor services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using our platform.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
